At 10:00 a.m. on 15 October 2024, Tongji University Alumni Entrepreneurs Silk Road Fellowship Symposium and Alumni Enterprises Visiting Activity were held as scheduled in Urumqi, Xinjiang. The event was hosted by Xinjiang Tongji University Alumni Association and co-organised by Tongji University Alumni Entrepreneurs Association (Blue Ant Club), Investment and Financing Branch and Shenzhen Alumni Association.

Jin Fujiang, secretary of Urumqi Science and Technology Bureau, Wu Zhencai, former deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of Jiading Campus of Tongji University, Chen Peng, secretary of Science and Technology Bureau of Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone, Du Panpan, deputy director of High-tech Section of Urumqi Science and Technology Bureau, and Xiong Bo, secretary general of Xinjiang Civil Engineering and Architecture Society were invited to attend. The event also invited many representative personnel from Shanghai Delegation, Shenzhen Delegation and Xinjiang Alumni Association, among which Mr. Liu Zhi, Vice President of Tongji Alumni Entrepreneurs Association and CEO of Lemen International, was invited to attend.

At the Tongji University Alumni Entrepreneurs Silk Road Fellowship Symposium, the president of Xinjiang Alumni Association delivered a welcome speech and introduced the development of Xinjiang Alumni Association in detail. Subsequently, Tongji University Alumni Association, Entrepreneurs Association, Investment and Financing Branch and Shenzhen Alumni Association also introduced their own development respectively. Special guests also introduced the industrial layout, business environment and industry development in Xinjiang.

After the symposium, the delegation went to Goldwind Science and Technology Co., Ltd, Xinjiang Software Park, Xinjiang Xiling Information Technology Co., Ltd, and Tsinghua University's famous incubator Qidi Star to conduct field visits and research. The success of this Tongji University alumni entrepreneurs networking activity not only deepened the contact between alumni enterprises and the delegation, provided new opportunities and ideas for cooperation and development among alumni, but also injected new vitality into the development of regional economy.
